Treasures from the Vault: Tony Jojola

A small glass vase, colored magenta at the base, orange and yellow at the top. Several organic shapes and lines cover the surface. These include a chain of blue and white triangles, yellow lines shaped like stair steps, and a band of black around the top. Green and yellow flecks cover the surface.

Colorful and intriguing patterns cover the glass surface of works made by artist Tony Jojola. Research Curator, Sachi Yanari-Rizzo, walks us through the life in inspirations of Jojola in this month's Treasures from the Vault.
